Terms of use and sale
These terms apply when you use the RNK Academy website and when you buy a place in a class. RNK Academy is a subsidiary of RNK Enterprise.
Who we are
Places are sold by RNK Enterprise, 702 N Crescent Dr, Creedmoor, NC 27522, USA. Contact: [email protected].
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details private. One account per person, please.
- You must confirm your email address before enrolling.
- You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms and make the purchase for you, and is responsible for your enrollment.
- Learners may enroll from any country, except where U.S. sanctions or export rules prohibit it.
What you buy
A place in a specific scheduled class. The course page and your order list exactly what is included (modules, live sessions, assessment attempts, capstone review and a certificate of completion when you meet the published requirements), the total price and currency, and the policies that apply. Prices and included items are fixed on your order when you pay.
Taxes and fees: No sales tax or other fees are added
Completion and certificates
A certificate of completion records the course requirements you met. It does not by itself establish an accredited qualification, professional license or third-party credential, and we do not promise employment or any particular outcome.
Course materials
Course materials are for your personal learning. You may download them and keep your copies for your own reference after the course ends, even once your online access has closed. You may use, change and build on the lab code in your own personal or work projects. You may not sell, share, publish or upload the course materials, or use them to teach others, without our written permission. RNK Enterprise keeps all other rights in the materials.
Conduct and assessments
Assessments follow the rules published for each course. Suspected rule breaches are reviewed by a person before any decision, and you can request a review or appeal through a help request.
Cancellations and refunds
See Refunds and cancellations.
Liability and law
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for anything relating to a class is limited to the amount you paid for that class, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost income or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the place where you live.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA. Disputes will be decided by the state courts of Granville County, North Carolina, or the federal courts for the Eastern District of North Carolina, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
